Jody is a Colorado native and alumni of the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduating with a degree in Political Science from CU Boulder, Jody moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked as a legislative correspondent and legislative aide for Congressman Mark E. Udall.  Jody moved back west to attend law school in 2006 and, while attending law school, represented UW Law School in the regional trial competition her second and third year. She was published in the University of Wyoming Law Review in 2008 and became a case note editor her third year. After working in the Defender Aid Clinic at UW Law, Jody argued in front of the Wyoming Supreme Court in April 2009.  She graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law in May 2009.  Jody was recognized as the International Association of Trial Lawyers Student of the Year from the University of Wyoming College of Law, and also received the Excellence in Advocacy award.  She joined White and Steele in August 2009.
