Diana Mendez is originally from Miami, Florida and made the move to Colorado to follow her passion for the great outdoors. Prior to earning her J.D. at the University of Miami, Diana attended the University of South Florida where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in English. As a law student, Diana participated in a visiting semester at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she affirmed her affinity for the state of Colorado, and decided to make a permanent move. Diana also participated in a visiting semester at University College London, where she had the opportunity to visit the House of Parliament and the then newly in session Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining White and Steele, Ms. Mendez worked as a legal professional for almost ten years, having been exposed to the field at an early age through her first job as a file clerk. Ms. Mendez comes to Colorado with a unique background in maritime insurance defense litigation and experience in a variety of other practice areas including personal injury and labor and employment litigation.
