2018 Summer Law Clerk Becky Plumage

Learning never stops at White and Steele. We are happy to announce Rebecca Plumage as our 2018 Summer Law Clerk.
Rebecca is Aaniiih Nakoda and grew up in Pierre, South Dakota. She began clerking for White and Steele through the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Summer Clerkship Program.

Rebecca received her B.A. in Psychology from Ohio State University in 2015. In 2017 she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis with a concentration in working in American Indian/Alaska Native communities. Rebecca started law school at the University of Denver in August 2017 and currently serves on the board of the Native American Law Student Association. This year she spent two weeks serving clients in New Mexico and South Dakota with DU’s Tribal Wills Project, and in the spring she will practice as a student attorney with the Civil Litigation Clinic.

While spending time clerking at White and Steele, Rebecca gained experience in a wide array of the legal profession. Rebecca has had the opportunity to attend mediations and depositions with shareholders, attend a trial, perform legal research for active cases, and draft pleadings. Rebecca also helped author an article titled “Sealing Civil Cases in Colorado Professional Malpractice Cases” which will be featured on the website for our clients, CRES Insurance Services.

It has been a pleasure to host Rebecca as our summer law clerk. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors!
