Steve Higgins successfully defended a business owner in a premise liability case. The plaintiff asked the jury to award damages in the amount of $2.7 million as a result of his leg being amputated from injuries sustained while falling in the parking lot. The jury concluded that the business acted reasonably in maintaining the parking lot.
