June 2014 Metro Caring Volunteering Night

June 2014 1Thank you to Donna Parker, her daughter Jennifer, her grandchildren Cameron and Parker and their friend Jasper, Adam Goldstein, his children Kyle, Kasey, and Andrew, Susan Portillos, Jenny Buck, her fiancé Lohr Childs, and Rachel Jennings for volunteering!

“I was proud of my kids’ hard work and it was a very rewarding experience for all of us. White and Steele’s volunteer commitment provides a great opportunity to give back to the community and keep  our lives in perspective.”     -Adam Goldstein

“This was by far the most rewarding grocery shopping experience of my life. I really enjoyed seeing the clients’ grateful expressions, and knowing that White and Steele supports such a valuable community program.”     -Rachel Jennings

“The biggest thing I got out of it was my grandchildren and their friend. They just hustled! They were really into the toilet paper packing competition. Jasper even told me that at first he didn’t want to do this, but he was glad they did. And he wants to do it again! Cameron wants to do it every month.”     -Donna Parker

Metro Caring relies on donations, big or small. Anything from a couple cans from an individual to a pallet of bread from a grocery store or partial toilet paper rolls from an airline can make a real difference in someone's life!
