Pete Young was born and raised in Colorado and moved to Wyoming to attend the University of Wyoming. Pete graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School in 1990 and was admitted into the Wyoming State Bar the same year. Pete and his family have recently relocated to Colorado and Pete is excited to join the experienced lawyers of White and Steele. Pete\’s practice is limited to Wyoming State Courts and Federal Courts. Pete is a trained and skilled insurance defense and trial lawyer and has successfully defended many cases. In addition, Pete has also litigated high profile plaintiff\’s cases working with families experiencing a wrongful death and people seriously injured in industrial, trucking, automobile, motorcycle and other serious accidents. Pete is personally responsible for successfully resolving several serious injury and death plaintiff cases in excess of seven figures and multiple cases in the six figure range. Pete has also tried to verdict various serious injury and malpractice cases and obtained defense verdicts. Pete’s combination of substantial defense experience and serious injury plaintiff work now provides him a unique ability and perspective to evaluate and try serious injury lawsuits.
Peter and his wife Susan have five children who are located throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Pete and Susan are avid endurance athletes and are often running (with one of their many dogs) or cycling on the roads and highways of Wyoming and Colorado or racing in marathons and triathlons throughout the Rockies.
